http://www.gcnm.com/colon_cleansing_detox.html For reading if you're a bit bored. The testimonials had me laughing. Someone is making money off people who aren't able to make links between cause and effect, and who are further handicapped by poor critical thinking skills. Must be like taking candy from a baby. And on the opposite end is http://quackwatch.com/ a website that critically examines various therapies and ideas. He hasn't updated the echinacea section yet. New large study published this year showing echinacea can help prevent colds and shorten the cold period by up to 2 days. Previous reliable studies hadn't noticed much of an effect. Good site to bookmark. You may not agree with what their decisions, but at least you'll have enough information to make an informed decision.

I am posting here a very short quote from today's edition of Glenn Beck's daily e-mail newsletter. I have highlighted the last two sentences of this quote in bold black print, because, I found them to be extremely funny!! Here is the quote: Al Gore arrested
Ok, so it was Al Gore III, the former Vice Presidents son and not Al Gore himself, but it's still a classic story. Gore was pulled over for speeding in his Toyota Hybrid (who knew they were even able to speed?) and then the officer smelled marijuana. Gore III was quick to tell the officer who his dad was, but he received no leniency. I doubt Gore III was trying to use his dads power when he was name dropping, it was probably more of a 'dude, my dad is Al Gore. You would be stoned 24/7 if he was your dad, too.' That's a pretty solid defense. Chess Fan

Well, my Grandparents on my father's side of our family moved out to Roswell, New Mexico back around the year 1970 in order to help out the severe arthritis that my Grandmother was suffering from at that time. Chess Fan

How did she like it? Roswell was a pretty small town in 1970.

On a side note, Ed, since you live out there in the South-West: Do you know something that really impressed me about New Mexico when our family went out to visit our Grandparents there in Roswell, New Mexico when I was a teen-ager: "They had the fastest running lizards that I have ever seen!!" "They had the fastest running lizards that I have ever seen!!" You'd run pretty fast too if you were barefoot on that sunbaked sand.
