You know, I have *no idea at all* as to just why that Petrosianic *continues* to post these lies about me here in this thread.

He has said the same thing about me *a number of times* here in this thread during the past year or more, and, until today, I have just let it go by without responding to it at all.

However, today, I feel that I DO need to very briefly respond to Petrosianic's quote above.

So, here is my response:

"Petrosianic's quote above is a total lie in every way."

Some noteworthy points here. I replied in World Religions PM with a couple of questions.

spock, first-rate teaching tool, the evidence vs. illustration distinction. I'll use next time I teach about miracles.

Ken, Ed,

Glad I've finally been able to contribute something substantive.

Here is a short article by Barbara Henderson that is titled, "To Be Successful You MUST Be Narrow Minded."

Here is a short article by Joseph Chambers in which he describes just what that life here on this planet Earth will probably be like very soon after the Rapture of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ takes place: -- "Chilling Sounds After The Rapture."

Ken, I really like the guide to converting people that you posted the other day. Sadly, there have been a few unpleasant, negative comments in this thread recently - could we all try and remember to treat each other with respect, even when (especially when!) we disagree strongly with the other person's views?

Also, I'm getting pretty uncomfortable with all these threats of eternal damnation. Obviously, if you think your religion / faith is correct then you may well think there are consequences for people who don't follow your religion. That's fine but I don't think the threats needs repeating over and again. I don't think I can be objective on this point so I'll let the other moderators take any action they think is necessary, but please can we keep the discussions civilised?

I'm not going to do that; the owner of these boards has indicated there should be no sanctions for damning people to hell in the World Religions thread (because it's on topic here).

Anyway, you're all already in Hell. Hell is other people, didn't you get the memo? You're putting each other through it. Ironic, as Alanis Morrisette might say. Toodles, I'm off for a coupla weeks ->
