Show us one fulfilled prophecy. Just one. Sure, Ed. Here is a Bible prophecy predicting the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ that was made hundreds of years BEFORE He was ever born: "For to us a child is born,

Let me see if I understand this: If I know what is a mind of christ I can tell if I have a mind of christ?
Read Ed's post on circular reasoning because that is what you are doing, again. I'll take it as you are at least satisfied with my answer to your first question. Coming to the second question, is this too simple an answer to understand? Let us say, I give my daughter a printer cartridge and ask her if she has got a HP genuine printer cartridge, most likely she cannot tell. But if I explained to her what is a printer cartridge with the picture, and help her identify the brand with the logo, and how to find the authencity of it from the seal, she will do the steps and see if that fit the description of the printer cartridge she has in her hand. So first she need to know what is that she got, then she will be able to tell if she has got it. Where is circular reasoning involved here? This is for spock, not for ed. No problem with this example, except that it does not apply to the question posed. There is an objective standard for judging whether or not the print cartridge is real--you don't need to be in a special state of grace to examine logos and seals. How do you explain to your daughter how she can determine whether someone has the mind of christ and is interpreting the bible correctly? What labels or logos do you look for?

Did I say you need to be in a special state to know the mind of Christ? I think the Bible interpretation answer seems to confuse you with this answer. Let us deal with the two questions separately for a moment. You can objectviely know if you have the mind of Christ or not, just like you can know what you have is a genuine HP printer cartride or not. In both the cases you need the instruction manual (from the provider), in the first case you would need the Bible. This is as for knowing if you have the mind of Christ. As for knowing if the other person has the mind of Christ, you don't have access to the other person's mind! How can you tell what kind of mind the other person has other than from mind reading?? Why do you want to do the mind reading?
