Well, yesterday, my dear brother in the Lord, Tim Tebow, helped to lead the Denver Broncos to another victory, this time by a 13-10 score in overtime to beat the Chicago Bears.! up

Since Tebow was promoted to starting quarterback for the Broncos in Week 7 of this 2011 NFL season, the Broncos have won **six straight games**, and, they have won a total of **seven out of the eight games** that Denver has played with Tebow as their starting quarterback this season! grin

In six of the Broncos' seven wins this season with Tim Tebow as their starting quarterback, the Broncos have trailed in the second half before Tebow helped to lead the Broncos to comeback victories in all of those games! up

In closing here, directly below is a link to a recap of this game from the ESPN website:

Tebow is a great football player, but it has nothing to do with his religion. Just thought you'd like to know.

Well, actually Inky, it is all "part and parcel" of the same package! smile

Both Tim Tebow and myself are living Christ-centered lives in which our Lord Jesus Christ is THE Number 1 priority in our lives, and, everything else that we do, (whether playing football or whatever else that we do), mainly flows out of our personal relationship with our precious and wonderful Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

Well, speaking of Tim Tebow, (grin), in today's, (Thursday, December 15th, 2011), edition of the New York Post newspaper, (and leading up to the Broncos' game this coming Sunday against the New England Patriots), The Post's Steve Serby spent some time with Tim Tebow and asked him a few questions, which Tebow provided interesting and enlightening answers to.

So, in closing here, directly below, is the link to Steve Serby's "question and answer time" with my dear brother in the Lord, Tim Tebow:

So the Patriots beat the Broncos. Does that mean that Jesus is a Patriot fan?

Or does it reveal that religion has nothing to do with sport?

Uh, Ed, the **REAL**, and, the all-important eternal question is this: "Is Ed Yetman, III a "Jesus fan", in that, does Ed have true saving faith in Jesus??!!"

CF, you are the one who made the bogus comparison between Jesus and Tebow's success. If you want to credit Jesus with your successes, you must also blame him for your failures.

Do you want to do that?

If being a Christian meant you performed better than others in your sport, you'd think all the top players would be Christians and all the world records would be set by Christians. I wonder how many Christians have been at the bottom of their respective leagues, teams? Or somewhere in the middle? How many were completely mediocre, and why? Didn't they have enough faith? Was there unconfessed sin in their life?

As Inky and Ed said, being a great football player doesn't have anything to do with his religion. He'd be a great football player if he was Buddhist or atheist.

Ed, as usual, you, (and other people here in this thread), only "see what you want to see" concerning what I post here in this thread. roll

I was NOT saying that Tim Tebow's level of so-called success or failure in his playing quarterback in the National Football League is directly related to his personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Indeed, I am just happy and glad and joyful that, as this present world **VERY rapidly moves now** towards the Rapture of the Church and the subsequent horrific Anti-Christ led seven-year Tribulation period that follows the Rapture, that, in this, the probably VERY SHORT TIME that remains BEFORE the Rapture, that Almighty God is using Tim Tebow as another way to bring the witness of His Savior Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to this dying world before He, (God), brings down His wrath upon this un-believing world following the up-coming Rapture of the Church.
