I am planning to go. Seeing Fischer's grave is on the bucket list. It's going to be in the great venue this year - HARPA (pictured). Will i see any other ninjas?

Sorry, Kalten - I wrote in the wrong thread. I copy here what I wrote: Hey, Kalten - Fabiano is there. Tell him hi from me. Use my real name. He should remember it, if not tell him I'm the one who took pictures of him at the World Open when he was 11. I saw him 4 years ago in Dresden. Hope you are doing well... I have not been home, so can go on line to see you play. Here's where you can watch the results each day.

Results Page Kalten, all the ninja's love you, no matter how you do. Again, best of luck, and good chess tomorrow. Fabiano is winning ALL his games - I hope Kalten gets to talk to him. He gets very serious before games and doesn't like to chat. But afterwards, he is very friendly.

Inky, sorry, but I don't think I will talk to Fabiano, unless a good opportunity presents itself. I know he is very friendly, but he is also a professional chess player and during a tournament, he can always use any available time for preparation. Just like Magnus Carlsen, who was taken on a sight-seeing tour of London on a free day by 60 Minutes crew, but rather than look around, was just thinking about what to play on the next day.
Speaking of sight-seeing, it's absolutely gorgeous here. I took the bus trip, organized by the tournament. Caruana was not there, but David Navara was. Interestingly, when the weather turned bad and our bus stopped to help a car stuck in a snow drift, Navara was the first one out to help push. Macauley was also out with his camera in a flash to preserve the historic moment for posterity, but alas, there were some pretty big Norwegians on our bus, and there was no room for David to do his Samaritan duty. I took some pictures of Fabiano playing and some incredible sights as well. Will try to post them in a day or two.
P.S. And yes, my tournament is absolutely rotten. Let's not speak about that again.

Thanks for the update, Kalten. I can't wait to see those pictures!
I found a live streaming transmission. I watch Fabiano draw with GM Gawain Jones of England. Fab had black. It was exciting to watch him, even though he didn't win. I think he looked disappointed. But, don't worry, he will return to the top!

But, don't worry, he will return to the top! Check it out - Gawain Jones is tied with Caruana and also Thorfinnsson of Iceland for third place after round 5, having just dropped that half-point to Caruana. Kalten's not doing so well though - best of luck for the remaining rounds!
