"Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle and set apart for the gospel of God—
the gospel he promised beforehand through his prophets in the Holy Scriptures
regarding his Son, who as to his human nature was a descendant of David,
and who through the Spirit of holiness was declared with power to be the Son of God by His resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord."
(Romans 1:1-4) On this day, as we celebrate the Resurrection from the dead of the Lord Jesus Christ, I want to wish everyone here a very happy and blessed and joyous Easter!! Chess Fan

Well, in these End Times in which we are living, (with the up-coming Rapture of the Church and the subsequent **HORRIFIC** seven-year Tribulation period that will follow the Rapture), I do believe that Almighty God is giving the world some "previews" on a small scale of just what that the horrendous and terrible conditions here upon this Earth will be like AFTER the Rapture of the Church, and during the seven-year Tribulation period here upon this Earth. I believe that Almighty God is giving these warnings in order to "wake up" all of the unsaved, unbelievers in Jesus Christ to the fact that time is **very rapidly running out** for them to come to Jesus Christ for salvation BEFORE the Rapture happens and they are thus left behind to endure having to live upon this Earth during the seven-year Tribulation period that follows the Rapture of the Church. A case in point is the **incredible** video that I have linked to below that I believe is a "warning preview" from Almighty God about one of the things will happen when God pours out His wrath upon the Christ-rejecting Earth during the Tribulation period, which is described as follows in the Bible Book of Revelation: "From the sky huge hailstones of about a hundred pounds each fell upon men. And they cursed God on account of the plague of hail, because the plague was so terrible."
(Revelation, Chapter 16, Verse 21) Anyway, like I said before, I DO believe that what is shown in the following video that I linked to directly below is a small "preview" of what will be "fulfilled in full" as described in the Bible verse above. Okay, without further explanation, here is the link to that video: -- "3 to 4 FEET OF HAIL in Texas..."Chess Fan

Sorry...It just makes me mad that some people don't understand that the whole world doesn't agree with their little group - not even other Christians.

Well, for every unsaved, non-believer in the Lord Jesus Christ who has read what is described and shown in the quote above, and, who would *also* like to know how to be saved from the eternal death penalty of their sins **God's way**, (directly from the Word of God, which is the Holy Bible), please click on to the link to "My End Times Blog" at the bottom of this post, and read the **excellent** short Biblical commentary by Grant Phillips, (which is titled, "What Must I Do To Be Saved?"), that I posted a link to in the April 18th, 2012 entry in my blog. That was interesting. It is good people are highlighting some of these stories and the mostly unknown heroes behind them.

Well, for anyone who may still have any doubts at all that the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks upon the United States of America were a judgment upon this nation by Almighty God Himself... in the Wednesday, April 25th, 2012 blog entry in my "End Times Blog", (which I have linked to at the bottom of this post), I have posted a short explanation of, and, a link to, a sobering political and Biblical commentary article by Sue Bradley in which, using the stark evidence of **many things** that happened on and after the September 11th, 2001 attacks, Sue Bradley makes a VERY COMPELLING Biblical case for the fact that the September 11th terrorist attacks upon the United States were a "first strike warning judgment" from Almighty God Himself in His effort to bring the United States AS a nation back to Himself in humility and repentance.
And, seeing that the United States overall as a nation has certainly NOT come back to Almighty God in humility and repentance since those September 11th attacks more than 10 years ago now, it is **HIGHLY LIKELY** that an **even more severe and terrible judgment** from Almighty God is going to be coming upon the United States **in the very near future** because of our continued defiance and anti-God stance that the leaders of the United States have taken as a whole.
So, in closing here, for anyone who is interested in reading this commentary by Sue Bradley, which is titled, "THE WATCHMEN, 911 and THE HARBINGERS", then click on to the link to "My End Times Blog" at the bottom of this post, and read my post of Wednesday, April 25th, 2012 where I give a brief explanation of that commentary by Sue Bradley, and, I also provide a link for you to click on to to read that entire commentary in full.

Here's a tangent from the evolution and creationism thread, where I posted this: As an aside, this discussion has got me wondering what evidence would possibly cause me to rethink my Christian faith. This might seem upside down but I'd be a bit worried if I couldn't identify any possible discovery or new idea that would cast doubt on Christianity... Have I insulated myself so effectively from any attack on my faith? What do you all think? Is it okay for religious belief to be impervious to external evidence? Or is a certain element of doubt healthy? Perhaps a question specifically for people with a strongly-held religious / philosophical world-view - what evidence can you imagine that might cause you to seriously rethink your world-view?

As an aside, this discussion has got me wondering what evidence would possibly cause me to rethink my Christian faith. This might seem upside down but I'd be a bit worried if I couldn't identify any possible discovery or new idea that would cast doubt on Christianity... Have I insulated myself so effectively from any attack on my faith? Well, over and over in the Word of God, (the Bible), the Lord Jesus Christ says that He Himself is THE truth. Not "a truth"; but, THE Truth! When a person has received and KNOWS Jesus Christ as their very own personal Lord and Savior, then, the Holy Spirit of God Who lives inside of them, (if the believer will let Him); indeed, the Holy Spirit inside of the believer who is yielded to the leading of the Holy Spirit in their lives, that Holy Spirit of God WILL show and will assure that believer that they DO, indeed, have THE TRUTH, and that they have NO FEAR of having some other so-called, (counterfeit), so-called "truth" trying to make a claim on their heart and their soul. Jesus Christ Himself says the following statement concerning truth in The Gospel of John, Chapter 14, Verse 6: "I am the way and the truth and the life." Hmmm..., I would say that Jesus Christ DOES make a pretty exclusive claim on truth itself, don't you think?! And, Jesus Christ Himself ALSO says another truth statement in The Gospel of John, Chapter 8, Verses 31 and 32: "To the Jews, (and everyone else), who had believed Him, Jesus said, "If you hold to my teaching, you really are my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." " Indeed, Jesus Christ Himself promises those believers who stay close to Him and who look to Him ALONE for their truth, Jesus TELLS them that they WILL know the truth, (no need to look elsewhere for it), and that THIS truth *that is only found in Jesus* will set them free from their having to look elsewhere for truth, AND, it will **set them free from any fears of any other so-called "truth" claims that are made to them *outside of Jesus* undermining them and causing them to doubt their Christian faith.** Chess Fan
