Why don't you produce some links here? Because it's your claim. You need to make the case yourself. Now you say you don't know one way or the other. Are you abandoning your claim? Chess Fan, please do not pretend you are sincere in what you say about Kasparov here. Hey, Chess Fan pretends he's sincere about everything he says, and don't you forget it. But if you're going to move on to trying to get blood out of the Chess Fan turnip again, can I consider our own conversation over? As far as I can tell, we agree that you think Anand is best ever, but that history and the Chess World as a whole probably doesn't. You said you're not prepared to show any URLS showing that the Chess World thinks differently, so I'm assuming that's it for our discussion.

Just after I posted, the next day Anand expresses the very same sentiment! IK, are you also one among them that Anand considers parroting out??!
I think Kasparov is talking about something else in general, for me Anand not being able to beat Gelfand in the Classical part of the match is proof enough that something has changed. I do not think anyone can question his motivation, Anand has been at the top throughout so that is a given. But if Garry Kasparov and some top GMs keep saying that something is different about Anand, then Anand must know it too. PA, it is not difficult for Vishy Anand to prove his dominance , he is one of the few who is capable of it, but imo some other things have influenced his play of late, maybe it is having a son, or a peaceful private life. All i am saying is , in the next cycle with a stronger challenger maybe. I don't think Anand in his current form will be able to get an easy match next time.

Chess Fan, as always you seem as miserable as certain retired world champions. Deep down in my heart indeed. you should try writing jingles or funeral songs. What a clown.
any world champion who held onto his crown through fraud is nothing much more than that - a fraud. the 90's were one of the most competitive in chess. not the karpov kasparov, 80's where no on else could play at super GM level. as soon as he realized that the cheat shut shop and closed shutters. and now all he knows to do is deride others achievement.
in the first kasparov - karpov match there was a string of 17 draws. and this ass of a wch has the audacity to talk about motivation when he sees 6 draws. his 95 match with anand had 8 draws to start. obviously kasparov is a miserable ol man becuase post chess life is not one filled with as much significance and all he is trying to do is stay relevant when he is not anymore.

IK, Anand is NOT going to take the bait Kasparov or you are setting up. You can't take chances in world championships. Anand will only play as if the other end a houdini or whatever is sitting. If all he can do is only a draw in the classical part, he will take it. Unable to dethrone Anand, anti-FIDE will cry out "boring", "boring" in frustration. But who cares? Btw, Anand has already dominated in all these 3 world championship matches. Other two challegers admitted it, only Gelfand is unable to openly admit it for whatever reasons. But Gelfand's face told the story in 11th and 12th games.

Anand has already dominated in all these 3 world championship matches. Other two challegers admitted it, Topalov admitted he was dominated? I'm not buying it. Show me that quote. I didn't see Kramnik admit it either, but forget him. Topalov is the one I'm incredulous about. only Gelfand is unable to openly admit it for whatever reasons. Perhaps because the match went to tiebreak?

Perhaps because the match went to tiebreak? Yeah that is mostly likely. But Gelfand also kind of said before the match that it requires nothing less than perfect preparation to hope for anything against anand. in that lines. Which is a kind of good certificate for Anand.
