Putin is the real hooligan, the chief thug, of Russia. He leads a regime of corrupt gangsters who brutalize, and in some cases, murder, anybody who is seen as a threat. What was done to Kasparov is disgraceful. It's too bad that I couldn't personally hash out my differences with Russia's Gangster No.1. I believe that it would be extremely enlightening for him, and after he woke up and was helped to rise to his feet, I feel sure that he would walk away from our little encounter with a much better appreciation of the virtues of American democracy...
