Inky, I've seen a few of your games and I can say without a doubt that your rating is not accurate.

It seemed to me that one of your problems was always time trouble and I think you will do better with longer games. I think in the last game I saw you used about 5 minutes in the first 5 moves with black in a Ruy Lopez opening. I think if you played more you could get through the first few moves without thinking much. If you are interested, I would be up for a blitz game anytime you catch me on a chess server.

Eddie, don't get too attached to your 1721. It looks like one of your wins wasn't in the PGN file I used so it will most likely be higher.

Not really that weird since ratings have a lot to do with who you play. If you noticed from Obi1's message, you had one of the easiest schedules
Uhh.. and you can tell that by what now?...

I have all the games except
inky vs dart rnd1
obi1 vs aabear rnd1
supergrobi vs just4fun rnd5
dart vs unhinged rnd6
palaveev vs aabear rnd6
sirky vs neo fight rnd6
inky1 vs neo fight rnd7

I know the last four of these are due to decision wins ...so its only the 1st 3
of the list I don't have

Right now I'm at work, when I get home I will try to post the round 1 game between Inky and myself. I'm not sure if I will be able to do this though. Back when the game was played I tried to have Fritz analyze it and Fritz was unable to read the file. I will definately try.

If I remember correctly, Inky vs Neofight was not played because Neo bowed out of the tournament because he didn't have an Internet connection anymore.

The number in the final column reflects the strength of your opposition, and was used as the "tiebreaker" for position placing.

Actually, i was able to find my round 4 game in an earlier TONC thread, so here it is WSFF:

[Event "30m + 0s, unrated"]
[Site "?"]
[Date "2003.06.22"]
[Round "?"]
[White "base8"]
[Black "unhinged"]
[Result "1-0"]
[ECO "C42"]
[PlyCount "53"]
[EventDate "2003.06.22"]

1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nf6 3. Nxe5 Nxe4 4. Bc4 d5 5. Bb5+ Nc6 6. Nxc6 bxc6 7. Bxc6+
Bd7 8. Bxa8 Qxa8 9. O-O Bc5 10. Qe1 Bb5 11. d3 O-O 12. c4 Bc6 13. dxe4 Re8 14.
Nc3 dxe4 15. Nd5 a5 16. Nxc7 Qb7 17. Nxe8 e3 18. Bxe3 Bxg2 19. Bxc5 Bh3 20.
Nf6+ gxf6 21. Qe8+ Kg7 22. Qf8+ Kg6 23. Qg8+ Kh6 24. Be3+ Kh5 25. Qxh7+ Kg4 26.
f3+ Qxf3 27. Rxf3 1-0

And by the way, thanks for taking the time to put the little rating list together, its kind of neat. OK back to work for me now smile

Right you are Rondo.

I mean, if I went round saying I was an Emperor because some moistened bint lobbed a scimitar at me, people would put me away. smile
