TOTALLY! Inky, you only needed 30 - 40 more SECONDS in our game and you would have mated me! laugh laugh laugh

Stop trying to claim the bottom of the totem. :p Cats do much better when they perch on top of things, refrigerators, bookshelves, dressers, etc. Although telephone poles and trees seem to pose a bit of problem from time to time. Nonetheless, you will do good in longer games.

right I have updated the moves for supergrobi vs just4fun rnd 5
and will update the link to the games when dart posts his rnd1 game vs inky
note that all the results still hold true i.e the table is correct
its just the actual moves which need updating

btw I would love to know when the deadline for tonc2 & letonc will be
I think some "advertising" to our gk whitebelt ninjas and here on CN could
could be beneficial to all

Not needed anymore but here are my complete databases (without the notation of D'Artagnan (schermator) vs. inky in the first round):

NinjaTournament.cbv

tonc1.zip (pgn)

Sad to say that I was unable to post my round 1 game vs Inky. When I try to open the file in Fritz it tells me that no game can be found. I've tried changing the file extension (from cbv to pgn, cbh... etc.) to no avail. Does anybody have any suggestions?

When I go home this weekend I will try to see if I successfully saved my round one game with Dart. smile

We'll start Tonc2 and Letonc 1 up next week.
I've just got to get around posting the list of parcicipants, after which I suggest we take two or three more days if any more people want to sign in.

Let's put as startdate next friday (22/8).

What 'E' in 'LETONC' stands for, again?

And Obi1, are you going to use the ninja ratings generated by WSSF for the pairings on both tournaments?

E stands for "event" as in Longer Event TONC. LTONC just doesn't flow as well. laugh

And yeah.. I think Obi1 should use those ratings. We gotta start somewhere.. And if Surfer keeps track of all of our games and stuff, then we can have a real type elo! laugh Ok, not overly real, but better than nothing.
