Most favorites through. Shankland upsets Leko. Second round begins today.
Ponomariov leads with 2/2 after two rounds, including a win over Kramnik. Mamedyarov, Leko, Naiditsch, and qualifier Le Quang Liem of Vietnam complete the double round-robin.
Lots of draws in the first four rounds. Ivanchuk already on -2 and pretty much out of the running to get the big result he needed to make the candidates. Leko, Ponomariov, Gelfand, Inarkiev, Eljanov, Gashimov lead on +1.
