Home Stretch

Back online for a few minutes and in 12 hours I'll even be back in cell phone land. Really, it's a scandal that the hills in the East Bay have such lousy coverage. But I'm leaving the Bronze Age tonight and the normal pandemonium will resume shortly with our interview of Bessel Kok, our biggest stories of 2005, our hopes, promises, and predictions for 2006, and a chat with Garry Kasparov, who is just a few months away from a full year away from the board. What else do we need to cover?

Mig, I see you googled Martinez,CA. Not much to do there except visit the John Muir House. The 95 U.S. Open was held next door in Concord. I'll bet those oil refineries are still spewing out their foul smells, not to mention the highest cancer rate per capita in the Bay Area.

Is there any possibility that i can get a free copy of the rybka chess engine?

Posted by: Emer Dee at February 5, 2006 17:52

Sure Emer! There is also a distinct possiblity conditions will someday be just right if only for an instant all your intense searching for rybka engines combined with online porn hopping will suddenly come into complete and total resonance, shed all their potencial energies and vaporize you into a pretty blue flash probably something resembling a criticality event. your electrons adding nicely into the earth's magnetosphere protecting us all from the suns ions. thank you!
Just kidding!!!! you can find the first beta version of rybka (use at your own risk) at rybkachess.com. You should be aware this as the name implies is a (BETA) version so don't cry argentina if it crashes your interface on the 86th move during a $1000000 computer vs superGM match ok!
