Jennifer Lopez and Hikaru Nakamura were on television together a few days ago. No, he hasn't made his Tonight Show debut yet (that still may happen). The giant NY1 news channel has a segment in the morning where they go over interesting bits in the local papers. One they chose the other day was the New York Post's coverage of Nakamura's win in the US Championship.

Dude, it's the New York Post. A Murdoch-owned tabloid targeted at people who move their lips when they read...;-) Errors aren't exactly rare. We should be happy that chess got coverage.
I wonder if Fischer knows Nakamura´s achievement (not the Jennifer Lopez stuff) and what he has to say about it. BTW, has anyone already read Kasparov on Fischer? Is it really that bad? Is it true that Fischer was afraid of Karpov? Why not suggesting a match Fischer x Karpov in Iceland? Who would be the favorite to win? Mad Fischer or Fat Karpov?

I bet Fischer dislikes Nakamura because he is jewish.
If I was jailed in Japan - next to a nuclearplant - following the US campionship wouldnt be first on my to do list! :-)
Nakamura is jewish? If so, then yes, Fischer would definitely hate him. But even if he weren't jewish, I don't think Fischer cares much about the United States.
